If you're a passionate leader with strong technical expertise in Android development and a track record of working with global teams, we want to hear from you!Job Responsibilities: As the Android SW Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and guiding a team of Android developers in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the mobile app meets business goals, user needs, and high performance standards. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Android developers collaborating with teams across China, India, Brazil and Chicago,Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and career development support for team members.Help recruit and build a high-performing, diverse team of Android engineers.Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance Android applications.Partner with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define app features, user flows, and technical requirements.Ensure smooth collaboration between global teams, adjusting to different time zones, cultural nuances, and communication styles.Ensure high-quality, bug-free, and user-friendly mobile apps by overseeing testing efforts, code reviews, and performance monitoring.Regularly monitor app performance metrics and lead initiatives for optimization.Maintain a strong focus on UX/UI quality and consistency across all Android devices. Job Requirements: B.E/M.S/M.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering or related field 8+ years of experience in Android development, with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale Android applications.At least 3+ years of experience in a senior or lead role, with at least one year of people management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones.Proficiency in English.Experience with development of Android applications and enhancement of Android framework components, to enhance user experience.  Strong Coding knowledge with Java, Kotlin, Android Studio.  Well versed with Object-oriented Analysis & Design, Design  Patterns, Data Structures and Algorithms. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Passion for innovation and a drive to create impactful software solutions. Desired Qualifications:Experience in publishing Android Apps to the Google Play Store Working experience with Git/Jira Knowledge of web services, REST APIs Knowledge of  interfacing with Google Cloud Services / Amazon Web services. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in software development. Working experience on integration of LLMs to application
